🚴 Strava Merge

Did Strava split one workout into several activities — auto-pause glitch, dead battery, accidental double-save? This stitches the pieces back into a single activity.

How it works

  1. Export each piece from Strava. Open each activity on strava.com (website, not the phone app), click the ⋯ (three dots) on the left, and choose Export GPX. Do this for every piece of the split workout.
  2. Drop all the files below and hit Merge. Points are combined and sorted by timestamp, keeping heart rate, cadence and power.
  3. Spot-check the stats on the next page — total distance, elapsed time, first & last timestamps. If they look like your whole workout, you grabbed the right files.
  4. Download the merged GPX.
  5. Delete the split pieces on Strava (each activity's ⋯ menu → Delete). Do this first — Strava rejects uploads that overlap activities already on your profile.
  6. Re-upload: on Strava click + → Upload activity → File and pick the merged GPX. 🎉

Files are processed in memory; the merged result is kept for 2 hours so you can download it, then deleted.
